We are as concerned about shipping as you are, we love and care for these pups daily. We are there when
they are born, when they open their eyes and when they take their first little steps. We are the first voices they hear, so
we want the best for our puppies.
Shipping a puppy by itself to a new location always sounds much
worse than it is. Shipping today is much safer than in the past. Airlines have worked to become much more pet friendly.Airlines
are not going to mistreat the pups for fear of lawsuit and customer dissatisfaction I have many years of shipping experience.
All of the pups that I have shipped in the past have been well taken care of. I tape puppy food and feeding
instructions to the top of the crate and put frozen water in the crate--so it will gradually thaw out for the pup and the
puppies are offered food along the ride. I have a big fluffy bed of shredded newspapers in the crate for the pup to nestle
and snuggle in and a baby blanket with siblings scent on it. The pup will arrive the same day usually within a few hours.
I always ask about any delays or layovers and know the exact times and departures of the flights. I do my best to
get direct flights to you if possible. We prefer to use either Northwest or Delta Airlines, they are both very pet friendly
and I have had past success with them. When the puppies have a connecting flight, they have a pet team that checks on them
to make sure they are doing ok. All of my shippings have went very smoothly and with success.
However, if you prefer to pickup that is fine. If you live ten hours or less, I feel this is better for the puppies
but if you live over ten hours away, I recommend air travel. Either by shipping the puppy or you flying to the airport and
carrying the puppy back with you as carry on, some airlines offer this as well. I can't guarantee any of the ways of transporting
your new puppy. Once the puppy leaves my care, he is then your responsibility. I will do my best to get the best fight possible,
get them to the airport safely but then they become yours.
You are the one to make the final decision as to what you feel is the best means of transport and I will assist you
in anyway that I possibly can. Research and consider what is best for you and your new little addition.
